As I Lay Dying é uma banda de metalcore dos Estados Unidos.
Em maio 2006 ambos os cds: “Beneath the Encasing of Ashes” (gravado dois meses depois que a banda entrou na Pluto) e o split “As I Lay Dying/American Tragedy”, foram regravados e re-lançados em um CD. O álbum contém as músicas originais e as re-gravações do split e do EP.
