As I Lay Dying é uma banda de metalcore dos Estados Unidos.
Atualmente a banda As I Lay Dying, tem o reconhecimento no estilo (metalcore), e é considerada uma das melhores bandas do gênero, e vem fazendo tour com grandes bandas, como: Bullet for My Valentine, Hatebreed, Lamb of God entre outras.
A banda é formada por cristãos, as letras demonstram de maneira culta, as batalhas, os problemas e suas perspectivas como cristãos, isto é, são escritas com temática da vida espiritual cristã.
